Exam Assistant

Your staff code identifies you; it is not a password. Exams are private to your code unless you share them on the Faculty shelf (in Exam settings), for others to view or to edit.

An idea, something that doesn't work, anything you'd like changed. It is kept for whoever looks after Exam Assistant at your school, with your staff code.

Use Exam Assistant with Claude

Ask Claude to write an exam or change a question, and watch it appear here as it works.

  1. Open the Claude app on this computer and sign in. (Don't have it? Get it from claude.ai/download.)
  2. Download Exam Assistant for Claude then click the downloaded file to open it. Nothing happens, or Windows asks which app to use? In Claude, go to Settings → Extensions → Advanced settings → Install Extension… and choose exam-assistant.mcpb from your Downloads.
  3. Claude shows an install screen with your staff code () already filled in. Click Install. If it says the extension isn't verified, that's expected: it's the school's own.

Then just ask Claude, for example: "Write a 30-mark Year 9 Science test on cells." If Claude asks for permission to use Exam Assistant, click Allow. Works at school, in the Claude app.
